google this: do a barrel roll

One of my friends who's plugged into all things internet emailed it to me. Believe it's something to do with an old Nintendo game they're giving respect to, or something.

My Last Friday ME PE test Experience

Well, I'd probably relax and hope for the best for now, it's out of our hands now. Sounds like you did okay in the AM, so who knows? Worry about what to do after results come out ... And hopefully it's figuring out how to write good thank you notes to your references.

Hrmmm, just noticed that your scores are going down with each successive test, perhaps you need more tabs?

    PE Result Dates by State

Holy moly, California's been over 85-90 consistently! I thought did pretty well, but I only did 80 questions, was there a third super-duper-depth module I missed?

What will be the approximate California license number range for the next #s issued?

Looks like they're up to 78855. So # 80000 should be up for grabs...

    What color was the pencil?

Red in SF too. I thought they mixed it up site-to-site..? Hope that this ends my collection (blue one was FE):

    How is everyone making out?

Took TF for the first time and, like my experience with the FE, was completely spent after around 3 hours in the afternoon, barely generating the energy to check I'd bubbled the answer I'd arrived at. I think the morning went pretty well, the afternoon certainly did not spend much time on my...

    Funnies at the exam?

At lunch in San Mateo as all the engineers lay around in the sun that had appeared after a particularly cold morning a proctor with a pretty comical strong British accent wandered around with a bullhorn calling "We are short one land surveyer!" over and over for a good 10-15 minutes. Apparently...

    How many at your test?

700ish at San Mateo, CA (SF Bay Area site). We had long benches to sit at, two per desk, in NYC I had my own stand alone desk last year for the FE which I much preferred. Guy next to me had a ton of books, but was keeping them in his own area thankfully.

NCEES Credential Evaluation & PE requirements in different states

I have a 5-yr double bachelors from an Australian university, BEng(Mech)/BTech(Aero) and applied for EIT in NY. They do their own internal degree evaluation provided you can get them an English language transcript. Mine also has was very technical-heavy program but it was approved quickly by NY...

    How is everyone making out?

Okay, I'm calling it quits until the big day. Just ran through a handful of practice problems tonight and made an error on one worthy of a big note in the MERM. Was running out of juice the past couple of days, so it's time to rest and recuperate for the marathon. Putting the books away felt...

    MERM Tables

I think the MERM is terrific for TF (my depth). The only other TF books I have are some more detailed steam & air tables (unnecessary, just nice) and the Cameron Hydraulic Manual which I use daily in my job so am very familiar with. But again, the Cameron book is unnecessary, just nice for...

    MERM Tables

Doesn't sound like it would add much efficiency to me. I have my steam and air table separately (Keenan books) and find that's handy, more due to the much finer resolution on the data than having it separate. I throw a ruler or setsquare into the theory section as I flip around the index &amp...

    How is everyone making out?

It was at the end of a long study session that I picked it up, so I may re-visit it with a fresh mind to see if my impression is different. But being a pump guy, there were more than a few times that I realised the author had no idea what they were talking about.

    How is everyone making out?

With only a few days to go, I'm feeling pretty good with where I'm at. Did pretty well on the NCEES 2001 & 2008 tests. Power cycles are getting a lot better and I've got my tabs working well. I tried out the SMS books, and the breadth questions were okay, but I threw the TF depth aside in...

    T/F, HVAC Breadth Topics

Well you have plenty of time. So if you're getting bogged down, skip the chapter and/or come back later. I've been basically skimming the content of the chapter to know where to find things, and then just working problems and tabbing like crazy. Depending on the chapter as it relates to my...
