I'll let you know what it looks like when it arrives middle of next week, but to ship after only about 6 hours from the order, that impressed me. Plenty of others on this board recommend them though

Don't need an expiry on there if you don't want one any more, see p11 of http://www.pels.ca.gov/licensees/boardrules.pdf

Same boat here Surfer357, not much need to use it in my industry, but if I ever stamp something, it will likely be transmitted electronically... So I'm getting a stamp so it can be scanned.

I have clients in OR, NY & NJ and my email sig and biz cards show the head office in NYC as my address. I've gone with Trev, P.E. (CA) to avoid confusion. Was considering having Trev, P.E. and then CA lic # 123456 below it but felt it was a bit wordy.

I need to be lookin at the 35,000's...looks like there are a lot of out of state licenses heading out in the Mechies, suppose the comity applications are heading through first. Hope I'm tomorrow. I guess the letter IS a part of the license number...

Just spoke to a few people at the board. First the evaluators, apparently there is no lic # next to my name in thier system (I'm mech eng and passed the exam), they said there was a lot of info they had to gather apart from the results before license #'s are issued. I asked a few tricky...

    Cameron Hydraulic Data

Have an as-new copy of the Cameron Hydraulic Data manual, extremely helpful for pump problems. I used to work for the company who published this book, and had two copies, may as well sell the spare that has never been opened and looks brand new. Sells new for $60+shipping, any takers at $45...

I'm having lots of problems getting through the lic # search. Lots of time outs. Had one go through for #78857 a few minutes ago with no result though. Hope they're updating.

Help! PA will not fill out NY's Form 3

Have you actually tried sending the standard PA form? CA appears to be the same way on the surface, asking for their own form to be filled out. My EIT is from NY and NY will not fill out other state's forms either. I just submitted the standard NY one and there was no issue being approved. I...

I think the renewal comes with the certificate, California doesn't mess around when it comes to taking your money

    PE vs. P.E.

Personally, I'm not into having periods around my PE-ness, but whatever floats your boat.
  19. Trev... P.E.

How many years out of college were you when you got your PE??

More importantly, once we're licensed, it appears we have a choice or two about the seal design I think I'm going for "professional engineer", I don't like the sound of registered or licensed out the front, and I like the double line version better.
