If you go to the NCEES website you can find the number of questions per section in the exam specifications section. Then multiply the percent in each section by the number of questions and add it up. You will find it works out peretty easily.

That's interesting. Most states have more non-resident PEs than resident PEs (looks like in general the large population states are the exception to this rule). I guess that makes sense.

PE license might make a difference if you want to go into the Power, Refining, Heavy Industry, or Construction consulting business. If you're looking at another area, most of them (manufacturing, electronics, communications, etc) probably not so much. Type Professional Engineer into monster...

Nobody knows. What difference does it make? There is a raw score of 52 on here that failed. But none of this means anything. You're not going to get the kind of answers you are looking for.
