California Seismic and Survey to be offered year round?

I took all three this past October. I passed the 8 hour. I'm still waiting on the results for Survey/Seismic. I would definitely take 8 hour and Survey together. There's a lot of overlap between the survey material and the transportation and construction questions on the 8 hour. Studying for...

If you passed, what review course did you take?

I self studied and passed it on my third try. I did the WRE in California. The CERM and Lindeburg Practice Problems book cover pretty much everything on the breadth and depth.

Repeat Takers who Passed: Any Advice?

I 100% agree with this. Do the problems in the CERM and Practice Problems book as many times as you can. I know it seems like a waste of time to do the same problems over and over, but it really helps you retain the information better and solve problems faster.

Lindberg Practice Problems for the Civil PE

The CERM and Lindeburg practice problems cover almost all of the Breadth and WRE Depth. It's also really well organized with easy to use values and tables in the appendix. Remember, you have 4 hours to answer 40 questions, so it's best to double check and triple check everything. If you really...

Lindberg Practice Problems for the Civil PE

You absolutely 100% should study the CERM and the Lindeburg practice problems. Yes, some questions are a bit more difficult than what you see on the exam, but it is well worth it because you're just that much more prepared. I passed the WRE this time and the CERM and Practice Problems book were...

    Deceptive Exam

The main problem with a review course is that it entirely depends on the teacher. If you have a teacher that really understands the exam and the best way to teach you the content so you can pass, then it's well worth it, but if you have a teacher that just kind of shows up and breezes through...

    Breadth review class

I passed Civil WRE on my third try. but never took a review course. I found the CERM and the accompanying practice problems book to be everything you need and more for the breadth.

Mechanical Eng taking the Civil PE (Water Resources)

I passed WRE in California this time on my 4th try. I would say the CERM covers about 90% of the depth portion and almost all of the breadth. I would just use the CERM and keep doing the problems in the practice problems book.

Repeat Takers who Passed: Any Advice?

I passed it on the 4th try. I did WRE in California. I do feel like there's a bit of luck involved. I didn't really change my study strategy too much between exams. All four times I used the CERM, CERM practice problems, and a few WRE discipline review manuals. I think the best advice is just to...

Anyone received exam notifications for CA Seismic and/or Surveying for April 2017?

Turiaf, The same thing happened to me. I got a notice to register for Seismic yesterday afternoon. I have not received Survey yet even though I am registered for both.
