Jabert..those are important topics and may be a few concenpt questions about either on the exam....I do have the grainger book mentioned above for sale for $50..cant remember how good it covers the subjects but I do know its one of the most popular books mentioned on this forum

Sounds like you should be familiar with a big part of the exam given your listed experience...you say you aren't familiar with NEC but if your doing distribution engineering you should at least be familiar with the NEC grounding, conductor sizing and transformer sections not to mention conduit...

PPI has some good exampples on protection....if i remember right, a good coordination problem...Gatech also has great protection examples....special aps...especially lighting..read the eprm/ppi section on it...and look for multiple examples on light intensity on surfaces....this is what...

You just need to go through the problems...learn how to do them...use the answers given to learn the concepts..then after going through all the exams...go through them like 5 times and you should then be able to answer them easily....but the exams alone, in my opinion arent enough...you will...

I took power April 2013...used all 4 exams to pass...they are good practice but you must put the time in reviewing them..i bought them like a month before the exam...paid 160...they are yours for a 100 plus shipping and handling...brand new!

I just purchased the CI books at full price a month before the April 13 exam...I passed and dont need thm anymore realy, for a fair price it is yours, brand new with no marks

Hey, sorry you didnt pass...Rotating machines were the easiest part of the exam IMO...but I can see it being difficult if youhavent gotten good references...If you could somehow get the GaTech notes on Rotating Machinery then you should blast it...I am pretty sure they were like 10-13 questions...

Just passed power..sorry for those who didnt....the diagnostic reports I have seen are pretty straigh forward...rotating machines...study all rotating machines..not just one type...this means ac/dc machines, generators, etc......
