My guess is that they only interview you if you submit some suspect calcs. I have taken the PE and SE in MA and know a few others who have done the same thing and I have never heard of someone being interviewed.

I can't speak for before April 2013, but it has been at least a week after the first release for April 2013 and October 2013 for MA.

Does anyone know when they'll be grading the afternoon section of the SE? It's usually a 2 or 3 day event right around now.

I'm in MA (PCS state) and I took the first half of the SE vertical in October and took lateral this April. By refreshing PCS at an alarming rate, I found out about 2 hours before I got an email from NCEES. I also noticed that my NCEES results were posted about a half hour before the email...

If you're doing the Bridge PM exam, I'd strongly recommend looking at examples from the NSBA Steel Bridge Design Handbook and they're free!

I'm pretty sure pirate was talking about the 16 hour SE exam. The pass rate has gone up a bit in the past year or so, but last year I remember the pass rate for the lateral exam was 25% for first time takers and 16% for repeat takers. Now it's about 40%.

This doesn't really apply to the IBC, but if you try to buy the 3rd printing of the Seismic Design Manual or the 13th edition of the steel manual through NCEES, it says that these references will be used through the October 2014 exam. I'm assuming that means that they'll start using the newer...

My license number is the same as the state ID# on the pcs page. I'm in MA and passed last April.

Looks like the test spec changed from AASHTO 5th edition w/2010 revisions to AASHTO 6th edition. Anyone know if there were any big changes?
