Thanks for the advice. I inquired about it over the chat feature and got them approved the next day.

what is the cutoff score of Civil Construction Depth

The best coping mechanism during the wait is to focus on the questions you know you got right. It helped me. Also, if you took enough practice exams you should know about what % you were getting correct.

How long did it take for your experience to get reviewed by? I submitted mine 3 weeks ago and it still says 'Pending NCEES'. I know it says up to 30 days but,I was wondering how long it actually took other experiences to get reviewed.

As far as assumptions, the only ones I remember you needing are the unit weight of concrete (150 lb/ft^3), water (62.4 lb/ft^3) and maybe steel (490 lb/ft^3). If the concrete weight is different they should tell you.

    ACI SP-4 8th ed. VS. 7th ed

I wouldn't worry about it - 7th edition will be fine. Definitely bring ACI 347-14 to the test, you will need that.

    Questions about college and military

Great point - a lot of millennials don't want to get their hands dirty and the market is going to shift accordingly. You may be better of sticking to a trade skill if it interests you.

    Questions about college and military

Good for you looking into finishing your degree while continuing to serve. It is a lot of work but also extremely rewarding - especially in engineering. Definitely stick with an ABET accredited school. Two that I know work well with military and are ABET accredited are Penn State Online and...

    Still Can't Believe It!

Me neither - I used to think PE's were way smarter than me though. Now that I have mine it changes my perspective...

Work from Home People / Self Employed are they a cult?

Those multi-level marketing schemes are the worst. Taking an item like vitamins or lotion that costs lets say $1 to produce then sell for $40-60. They prey off one's network of friends and gatherings just like the one you described. Some people who are desperate for more money just see friends...

Work Experience Prior to Graduate Degree Conferral Not Counted if Counting Graduate Degree Credit

You can try to fight it, but if your masters wasn't technically conferred until August 2014 it will be hard to argue. The intent of the rule is so no matter what you can't earn your PE until you have 4 years of experience (3 + 1 year masters). I think you nailed what happened in the last sentence...

EET helped me pass Construction Depth

On top of School of PE I used the NCEES practice exam and this practice exam for the depth portion. I would highly recommend both. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1511937726/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Hello from... Everywhere?

Hi everyone - I'm been following these forums for several months and finally decided to join. I'm an active duty Army officer so I move and travel constantly. Civil Construction Cut Score

Mike's Construction practice exam says the cut off is usually 56 or 57. I passed but I don't know what I scored.

So...How long did you study what was your game plan and what was your result

Civil Construction Spent ~250 hours over 12 weeks studying, primarily through School of PE (80 hours of classes). I felt very prepared compared to others I've talked to. Used School of PE problems, NCEES practice exam, and several other practice problem books - all of which were helpful. I...

    Civil Cut Scores.....47???

55% pass rate for 1st time test takers. When you look at the overall volume for construction the pass rate was 42%. Mike's practice test says the cut off is usually 56 or 57 which seems right to me. I got a 62/80 on the NCEES practice exam and felt similar about the actual test.

How I Passed the October 2015 Civil-Construction Exam (1st Attempt)

Thank you so much for this post. I used it as a guide for my preparation and studying and passed on the 1st attempt in October 2016! I just want to point out a couple things I did to help for the next guy. 1. School of PE - I would not have passed if it wasn't for this. I cannot stress how...
