Right , ask them what "the process" is . CA dropped the ball on the finger print this time and should have required it at the application stage . It is now a "HUGE" mess.

Yes , there is further problem of people out of state having to mail in their finger prints and waiting for mail to arrive .... BIG mess .. nothing to see here folks !

Just got off the phone with guy in CA who releases the results . He said expect something next week "before Christmas" . He reiterated lot of people have not submitted finger prints and it is delaying the licensing process . California has received results from NCEES but will not release them...

Why do you care ? You passed . Don't worry about it anymore.

States issue the PE license ; NCEES writes and administers the exam for it . I still can't figure out though why it is so difficult to get PE in another state if you already have one . I am guessing this is politics; states need you to pay for the application fee to get a PE and another fee +...

Well interestingly enough the specifications change ... Previously the PE did not have Power section separate . People could have got PE in previous years ... very different from today . I wonder how the PE will look like 10 years from now ... I'm sure it will be computer based .... maybe there...

Not sure why they release your score when you failed ; not when you passed .... Texas does it .. Why do other states don't ?

Tryandtryagain, if I failed by 1 question, I would try to do a manual check. In all, you will at least get more details on how you did which will help you next time around . And why would you not want to challenge it ... doesn't your score matter to you ? Just because someone said nothing will...

Ok, be sure to print out the Live Scan paper and take it to UPS store . Take about $80 with you for payment.
