Folks, appreciate the comments of the board.  I failed with a 66%, that said,  I did terrible on the TD section.... 3/14 questions!    System analysis, Power system performance and protection - any suggestions on study guides/books for this particular area that anyone can recommend?   Thanks

I took SOPE, and all I can tell you is that the instructor , is terrible,  at best. Reads right out of the notes, verbatim. Even the problem set, which is copied right out of the Villanova problems set, he reads word for word. You can follow my frustration with this guy, through my threads. And...

School of PE, power, failed. Sope may OK for other disciplines, but sucks for power.

I can't speak for others, but perhaps it's a good thing to share the experience of what the test was like. You just mention that your test sucked ***. Perhaps, it would have been helpful to also share with the community what helped you prep for the obscure questions and not waste too much time...

Glad you brought that up since from personal and recent  experience, both NY and CA, the bar was easier.

If the courses prep you for a mindset, you would expect at the very minimum that an average portion of the questions, regardless of difficulty, would simulate the course and the study material - at $1,000 bucks, I would hope that maybe 30 questions out of the 80 would be stuff from the prep...
