It is frustrating. When I applied to VA for the exam, nothing I did transferred from VA to NCEES. I essentially had to duplicate everything: transcripts, EIT verification, references, etc.  :censored:

All PE license numbers start with 0402 ... so add in a zero and 0402056XXX and BOOM, license number.

Virginia has started issuing license numbers. I checked on DPOR this morning and there I was  :party-smiley-048:

Virginia is nearly the same. I emailed the APELSCIDLA Board today, and I received a reply stating, "The licenses will be issued in the next 2 weeks." I don't know if there are additional fees or not.

So far, not too bad. I work for an AE firm with a nuclear power-focused division, but I am a mechanical for all intents and purposes (even by title). I'm glad I found this because had I gone in "nuclear engineering" at a nuclear plant, I would probably be there most of my career.  :unsure:  

Yeah, the 2015 test was 0% for repeats. While my degree is nuclear, that test scares me ... so I took mechanical :PASSED2:

I took the Mechanical PE Online course from PPI - passed on my first attempt (I took Thermal Fluids afternoon). The course was key to me passing ... at least that's how I feel about it. 

+1. My fiancé and I are looking to move and expand our family (after the wedding). I thought I wanted to pursue an MBA right after, but I have been so career-focused lately (PE, promotions, business trips, etc.). Time to focus on the personal life a bit.

Mechanical - Thermal Fluids here ... While I passed on my first attempt, I took the PPI online review course, which I give a large amount of credit too for helping me pass. I know myself well enough that I wouldn't have the discipline to self-study. The twice-a-week class (with homework...
