So far Castle Worldwide in NYC-Queens College seems to be non-compliant with the NCEES table size regulations with tiny 3.5 foot school tables.  Very odd.  Far off from the required 8 feet for 2 people or 6 feet for 1 person.

Why does castle worldwide not follow NCEES regulations in the Proctor Manual?  Apparently other proctors like in oregon have the 6 or 8 ft long tables required by NCEES.  I am surprised no one has complained after all these years.  I do not think it is very likely that they will change the test...

Does anyone remember how long the tables were at Queens College or any test site?  When I took the FE there it was around 3.5 feet long and they were cheap and wobbly.  But when I asked NCEES about the regulation about the sizes of the exam table they told me 8 feet per 2 people or 6 feet for 1...

When do you get the official address to the " Location: New York City Area"  for the PE Exam?  I am assuming it is at Queens College but can this change until you get the exam authorization sent out 2 weeks prior to the exam date?

For example I have been using my old textbooks, aisc 13, and aci 318-11 since I got out of school and into work.   I would imagine that the newer editions do not require new methods of designing steel or concrete.  Am I correct?  What kind of question would they ask that is specific to the aisc...

I probably use one edition older than what NCEES list has the current designs standards  used on the 2018 PE exam.  Did anyone find that using an older edition of CERM, AISC, ACI, make any difference for structural pm or am portion?

Yeah, I see what you are saying but according to the Nyers who passed April 2018 Pe on this forum, even issuing licenses is taking an strangely long amount of time in NY.

I had all my paperwork mailed out in mid to late April.  I had a direct supervisor sign my form but never got any notices from NYS.  Did they email you? or mail you a letter?  Hopefully they approve us soon.

I am confused as to why the approval to sit for the exam is taking so long.  Is it taking you just as long?  Did you ever get an approval?  Do you know if getting approved late will affect the availability of getting a seat in October?  I am worried there will be no seats left at my location. 

I was planning on bringing the reference manual from lindebburg but still have not heard back from the board.  Did you already get approval to sit for the exam?

Maybe someone should contact the state senator, congressman, or governor.

I used the online form you fill out and got a generic response from [email protected] saying the board is reviewing.  Are they the same division?

I would be shocked if they had a question about my experience since I already submitted it.  I researched how others worded everything and  I was very deliberate, correlative and detailed in my descriptions which I also organized into projects like you.

How long did they take to receive it after you mailed it out?  How long did it take from the day everything was mailed out to the day you received the notice? 

How long did approval to sit for the exam take for you?
