Where do I get the 2001 NCEES Practice Test?

Sometimes people here at EB.com will have them for sale. You may want to check the yard sale section. I'm going to give mine away once I pass.

    Air Flow Question

If the following is the Bernoulli equation for air flow... SP1+VP1+TPfan=SP2+VP2+FP then how can the following be true... SP+VP=TP? (MERM eq. 20.6) Seems like those two equations contradict each other. What am I missing here? Thanks!

Where do I get the 2001 NCEES Practice Test?

You may also want to ask around at your office. Keep in mind they have changed the specs of the exam very slightly so the 2001 is not a perfect representative exam...but it is VERY close and still a valuable study tool in my opinion.

    Errata for 2001 Sample Exam

Update: I e-mailed both NCEES and PPI and called PPI. Neither of them are going to give us the 2001 errata. The lady at PPI was rather rude about it...saying they never had the errata for NCEES exams on their website so I had to prove her wrong by navigating her to her own website and showing...

I Have Located a 3rd NCEES Sample Exam for Mechanical (1995)

The old ones are becoming more difficult to find. Ask around here and see if someone will sell you an old one or ask around at the place you work. That's what I did and I've located the 1995, 2001 exams and bought the 2008 exam. These are the best way to study!

Would Anyone Like to Share Cheat Sheets?

My MERM is tabbed like crazy but some of the most frequent equations and conversions are captured on my cheat sheets which are quicker to get to than flipping through the MERM. I have never finished a sample exam or the real thing in 06 so time is critical to me. I have a 3 ring binder...the...

Well I took the 2001 NCEES sample exam today...

I took the 2001 ME sample exam today under exam-like conditions and scored 32 in the morning and 22 in the afternoon (HVAC). This gives me a total score of 54. That's close to the estimated passing score of 56! A couple of things to consider is... I took this sample exam in 2006 and I think...
