I 100% agree, but I don't see them doing it.  If they missed a poor question, or the computer answer key was incorrect, a lot of people would fail.  And being kicked from the test immediately upon a failure without a chance to finish the test would cause a lot of people to have to wait another...

Currently they determine the cut scores after the test, so I don't see how this would work.  Also, they wouldn't have any chance to review poorly written or compromised questions.  That would be bad, real bad.  Think if you got a FAIL result halfway through the test because of a question they...

I found the AM very difficult.  I was routinely finishing my practice exams in 2 to 2-1/2 hours with review.  The actual test took me the entire 4 hours.  Everyone else I talked to had a similar experience.  I think its partially because it was truly a harder test, and partially because it was...

They could provide excerpts from various codes, or the entire thing, on the computer based reference manuals.  They couldn't do away with the code questions all together - the associations that produce them would lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost revenue from worried PE examinees who...

    Ohio Results...

I think they said they're migrating to a new system, so I don't believe it's PE results related.

I realize that, I didn't mean to infer that they did.

Agreed. I hadn't checked it yet - needless to say my heart skipped a few beats when I saw it said License Type - PE.  :censored:

I don't believe I can look up the EIT statuses.  I checked a friend of mine who just applied for the April exam, and his name appears as the same, but status reads Pending.  I believe an engineer's name is entered once you apply to the Ohio board to take an exam. False alarm, return to your...

FWIW, two other individuals I know also took the Oct 2015 exam and their search results show the same wording.  Perhaps it's just a placeholder after you apply via the Ohio Board to take the PE.

Can anyone tell me what this means... Just for fun I searched my name on the Ohio Engineering Board License database and it came up.  It reads: Credential - PE, License Type - Professional Engineer, Status - Reviewed, etc.  Obviously no PE license number, but from what I've heard you have to...

Compared to the cut score?  What does that mean?  The scanned results showed a larger than normal amount of fails or passes?

    NCEES website subtle changes........

This morning my registration on NCEES for the PE said unavailable, as did every other exam.  The PE exam is now red and says "Results Pending" and the others are green and read "Available".

    Ohio Results...

Ohio's Engineering Board website reads, "October 2015 PE and PS exams should be released by the end of December. These results will be released to individuals from NCEES at the same time the results are released to the Ohio Board. " By that statement, if the results have already been released...

Just took Civil: Structural for the first time in October.  I'm in the "feeling guilty I'm playing video games and not studying for April" phase. I have worked exclusively in the pipeline industry since school, but took a Structural emphasis in my Master's.  I took the Structural exam thinking...
