It would be really impressive to pull a P.E. hat trick, but I don't see how an additional PE would automatically lead to more money and recognition.  Maybe you could be a petroleum engineer by day and an electrical engineer by night, like Batman with an engineering utility belt.

Congrats to both of you!  I was nervous that they might have released the results in error at first but my KSBTP license search shows the same.  I think that makes a total of 3 non-lurkers from Kansas that took the exam this time around and so far we're 3 for 3.  Not a bad record.

Passed here in KS, Civil-Construction.  I was pleasantly surprised that they updated NCEES and the KSBTP website so I didn't have to wait for the mailed letter to get my results.

Assuming at least one problem was thrown out, it was probably 54/79=0.68 vs 55/79=0.70 so one problem might have gotten you over the hump.  Glad you got it the second time around!

I'm pretty sure PCS is a private contractor which has no problems asking their people to come in on a Sunday, especially after they were out of the office the Friday that results were released to them for a Christmas party (per other threads).  Good luck getting government employees to come in...

True.  If a bridge design fails, the first heads to roll will be the engineers who stamped the original design and any change orders.  Regardless of the ethical responsibility to the public, it's just not smart to put your name and professional future on the line for something you can't stand...

For what it's worth, Kansas hasn't mailed any envelopes yet.  And when they do, NCEES still won't be able to tell us if we passed or not.  We have to wait for the envelope.
