    SE RESULTS ARE OUT

I feel your pain, I failed vertical due to an unexpected problem and that was without a review course. All the feedback I heard from exam takers made it sound like NCEES gave "tricky" problems deliberately. That seems completely unfair to take an exam of this difficulty and throw in atypical...

Anyone took SE exam in MI state?

    Sorry busy, will reply soon.

    SE Tittle

Check the NCSEA website: http://www.ncsea.com/ They have a list of licensure in various states under "resources".

Nice! Time to take the day off and celebrate. :P

    SE Tittle

No. The only structural certification I would ever consider getting is the Model Law SE designation from NCEES (but after the **** NCEES gave us for the records fiasco I wont even give them a penny more than I have to).

Well, acceptance is the last of those stages, right? Sometimes we need a bit more practice before we get it right. You look like you're pretty close, maybe just a bit more on the morning and turn that unacceptable into an acceptable. At this point I'd look at what you're doing for your studying...

Are you taking buildings or bridges?

    IBC 2015 uses ASCE 7-10.

Anyone took SE exam in MI state?

I'd say it makes little difference.

Mmmm, they are good. It's actually been a while since I was there; might have to change that. Makes sense, Maine's fairly lax for letting people sit for the SE. Being a PCS state they'll drag their feet for sure.

Woohoo! Congratulations fellow Maine SE. Beer on me if you're up in the Orono area!

    SE RESULTS ARE OUT

Congratulations! Quite an achievement to pass both in one go. Nicely done; thankfully your codes wont change either. Knock it out of the park! Well done! Was this is the last one for you?

    October 2017 References

I agree with the above, that it's surprising they didn't change for the October exam and I'd agree that it's likely to be April 2018. Still, the fact that they didn't change for this Fall means that it's not for sure that they'll even change in April 2018. Might just have to wait until December...

    Good luck, everyone!

From here (emphasis mine): http://ncees.org/engineering/engineering-scoring/ Licensing exams differ from most other exams. After each administration, every NCEES exam undergoes extensive statistical analysis to determine the minimum level of performance required for entry into the profession...

    Good luck, everyone!

NCEES doesn't grade on a curve but does throw out questions that were misleading or incorrect and the cut score does change depending on the difficulty of the exam compared to some benchmark.

    Good luck, everyone!

    Just vertical.
  17. TehMightyEngineer

    Good luck, everyone!

You're like the fourth person to mention this that I've talked to. Something weird going on with some of those questions for sure.

    Waiting....

Nope, I still think this will be June. Last 2 April exams released after 54 and 56 days respectively. So that puts us somewhere in the middle of June.
  19. TehMightyEngineer

    Waiting....

6/13/2017 based on an average release date time of 53 days.
