States that require experience to sit for the NCEES PE Exams

This is straight from the NCEES website, which I linked to in my original post. As @CAPLS stated above, NCEES does not review or determine who sits for the PE exam. It is not their decision to approve or deny you. Now, if you're in a state such as Pennsylvania that requires board approval to...

But yes, I’m showing the states that allow one to take the PE exam BEFORE submitting an application for licensure. simply put, these states do not need to grant you permission to take the test.

States that require experience to sit for the NCEES PE Exams

To my knowledge, NCEES does not approve or deny you to sit for the Principles & Practice exam. That's what I mean be "decoupled." Michigan, as you said, requires passing FE and PE exam scores to apply for licensure. But that's just it. You can take the exam BEFORE applying.

States that require experience to sit for the NCEES PE Exams

I have CA listed as not decoupled because the NCEES exam isn’t the only exam required to become licensed as a PE in civil engineering, and they require an application to sit for the Seismic and Surveying exams. So, since it’s not decoupled for all disciplines, that’s why I have them green.

States that require experience to sit for the NCEES PE Exams

I see a lot of people asking whether they can take the PE exam early in their state. My best advice is to call or email (preferably call) your state board. They will give you the 100% most correct answer. But here's something to get you started. The blue states have "decoupled" their education...

Honestly, if I was the department, I'd have given everyone a W and made them repeat the class. Since it would have been obvious nobody learned a damn thing and it was a sham because of said professor's laziness. In either case, good on you for standing up to that!

    PE Civil CBT 2022

As explained earlier in this thread, you have no idea which questions are experimental. They are not counted. Example: if you count that you got 50/80 questions right during the exam, and you got all 10 experimental questions right, your score is 40/70. Regardless, they don't tell you your...

You quoted my post. So if you'd actually read it, you'd know that I said "On the Practice exam, I got six out of seven parts correct." PRACTICE exam. It's common knowledge that regardless of whether you passed or failed, they do not tell you which questions you got right or wrong.

There seems something majorly wrong with that. "Look, I know you did worse than this other person, but I'm gonna arbitrarily change it so you did worse than worse." No student should ever be graded based on the performance of another student.

You actually did. You must return all your stamps, your license, and track down anything and everything you've stamped and destroy it all.
