    ME PE Exam Reference Material

Here's my suggestion, unless you really, really love doing machine design and can visualize the concept, the machine design is probably the hardest. I studied all three discipline, all the problems merm, 6 min solution, ncess practice exams (2000, 2008), lindeburg practice exam. I took the...

    Mechanical PE

I'm not sure what all the fuss with cutscore. If you look at past cutscore from 2002-2004, for mechancial/electrical/chemical, the passing score is 70%. then they stopped posting it at the CA pels website. not one time did I see a cutscore below 70% except for traffic. Ncees says min is 70%...

    Please suggest review courses

I took a review course the first time I took the exam. I can honestly say that self-studying, 400+ hours, is way better than review courses. You get to be your own teacher and you make your own notes. You stick with MERM and go from there.

    Mechanical PE

I found the morning to be really easy, much easier than I thought. I think I passed because of the morning. Probably 90% morning/70% in the afternoon. This was my third time. Twice back in the 90's and finally after 14 years, I tried again. this time all multiple choice, which is a...

Does anyone recommend using Schaum or REA books

Thanks. I will probably just get six-minute solutions. Using the lindeburg practice book, I feel like he didn't cover all the topics in the reference manuals in the practice problems.
