    Need Seismic Review Course Recommendations

I highly recommend getting Hiner's SDR. I passed this test a while back with just the workbook + ASCE Min. Load + IBC 2006. Read the workbook as many times as you can and understand the principles. Manage your time during the exam and remember all the improtant tables. Good luck and hope you...

    survey review course rec

Guys, I passed surveying a while back and did not tale any of the courses. I bought Reza workbook and that's it. What I suggest to you guys is to review Reza workbook and whatever review materials you have. Understand the principle and work on the problems many times without looking at them...

I agree with Gobol. Just study what you have and flip over more time as you did. Getting additional references would only put to much pressure on what you already know and might confuse you. Do more problems this time. Try to solve the problems without looking at them. Good luck.

If you do not pass the Civil PE and 2 CA state specific exams, your name will not appear on the board website. To my experience, they update the license look-up after several days of mailing results. Mail will come first.

    CA result date for 2010?

The number you have when you took the exam was your examinee ID and your license number will be shown the moment they update the license look-up database or the certificate whichever comes first. From my experience and I believe in most cases, license look-up database will be updated first...

    Seismic/Survey Study

Do practice problems as much as you can and be VERY FAMILIAR with the codes and references. Minimum and maximum should be dealt with your background. Just make sure you have enough knowledge of each topic. Goodluck.

    Survey Exam April 2010

Aztecdevil, I don't know your background but I would suggest getting Hiner's Seismic Design Workbook. Together with this workbook, you also need IBC 2006 and ASCE 7 to get through the exam. This works for me. Hope that helps. Thanks.

CA Seismic Exam Review Course vs. Self Study

I passed the Seismic by self-study with Hiner Seismic Design Workbook. Eventhough you attended the seminar or whatever (webinar) still that all depends on you. Know your strengths and weaknesses and start from there. You can make it. It is all up to you. Good luck.
