It hasn't worn off for me. The amount of effort I put into getting this license was unreal. Waking up at 3am to study, living off redbull. It makes me happy to think I am strong enough to do anything if I set my mind on it.
I didn't get a raise but I was given a high bonus in December. *shrugs*...

The one thing I do for every exam is start from the last question and work my way back up. It helped me a lot because I felt like some of the more difficult first questions were there to discourage you. Passed on 1st try :)
I studied an effective 200 or so hours and passed on the first try. One thing that helped me was studying for 7 intense weeks leading up to the exam as opposed to casually studying for 3 months. That strategy seems to work a bit better for me. My entire life in those 7 weeks was work and PE...
