Has anyone had success in passing the PLS in California and then getting comity in other states? I'm a civil PE with an EIT and I believe I would qualify to take the CA PLS exam. Eventually I want to get the PLS in Massachusetts.

I just applied for comity in Oregon using a NCEES Record. I was shocked to discover that the fee is $375 (my first state was around $70 I think), and that the addresses on all the forms are STILL incorrect. (Fortunately I learned about the address issue from this board before sending everything...
I used a handtruck with 5 milkcrates. This worked great, since I brought a huge amount of reference materials. I used books some that I never thought that I would need. You can also put the milkcrates on the floor and use them as a low table.
In addition to M+E, I was happy to have Water Quality by Tchobanoglous and Schroeder. (Tchobanaglous is the main author of the M&E book.) It covers both water and wastewater treatment, a number of other topics, and it covers a lot of basic theory.
