I took EET - Seismic class, studied for maybe 2 months. Cannot recommend this enough! Felt very confident leaving the exam. Bought the Mansour surveying book/practice exams. Studied for about one week by going through the book/exams, felt fairly confident, and passed.
I sent in my application (for comity) late April. First communication was in mid June (application was incomplete). Fixed that within a week, was approved maybe within a week. Passed both exams first try and was licensed end of December.
8 months from application to license. Maybe 2.5 months...
I think it sounds like you know what you need to do. You don't need prayers - you need to study! :P
Having not gone through the whole CERM tells me you have a lot left to go over, but you are going to be fine once you do that. I completely filled over 250 pages of college ruled loose leaf...
Hmm. I took Civil - Structural in October 2016 and found the morning to be exceptionally easy and straightforward whereas April testers thought they had it bad.
Have you gone through the CERM and done all the problems? I found myself very prepared for the morning using just that. Additionally...
It's probably going to be tomorrow at the earliest. I have a project tomorrow afternoon, would be great to be able to use one of my "PE" business cards in CA for the first time!! I live here but am licensed in several other States - been so frustrating to not be able to say PE in the home country!!
Passed Seismic and Survey first try. THANK YOU to everyone who helped on this board, even just those stickied posts are immensely helpful to find out what you should expect.
