    It's On!!

Praying for us all to arrive safely and have total recall of all we studied! (No bad weather, traffic, sickness... just let us take the test and be done! :-) ) If anyone is taking it in Raleigh I'll see you there. :-)

Help with NCEES #129 (Electrical and Electronics)?

No problem, I needed the reminder also. :-)

Help with NCEES #129 (Electrical and Electronics)?

Hi, I need to look at the problem when I get home, but I believe it is part of small signal analysis. Basically the 15v is now shorted, so Rd and Rl are in parallel as seen from Vout. I'll try to check later this evening and post if I think otherwise. GL

    Which EE PE?

I am guessing the most you would have to do is take the PE for Electronics or Computer if you decide to work in that field as a PE.

    # 112, 123, 124, 132 Electrical and Electronics

For 112, I posted this in another thread that might help you: The key here is to realize that linear regression is based upon the coefficients being linear, not the data. In the problem X1, X2, .... represents the data. I had one of our statistics guys come and explain the answer to me. (Even...

    # 112, 123, 124, 132 Electrical and Electronics

I don't have the book in front of me, but if you gave more detail on each problem I might be able to help out. (For example I think 132 is the one with the crystal oscillator. It was explained to me that in order for it to be an oscillator the phase in the feedback loop needs to be 0 degrees...

    NCEES prob. 105 - Electronics

It's problem 112 in the same book of problems. The key here is to realize that linear regression is based upon the coefficients being linear, not the data. In the problem X1, X2, .... represents the data. I had one of our statistics guys come and explain the answer to me. (Even if X1 was...

    NCEES prob. 105 - Electronics

Schmidty, Very good, that's what I was thinking about inductors. Looking forward to the next problem if you have any. (I just can't answer any from Electrical Engineering Sample Examinations 3rd Edition since I'm saving that for a 8 hour timed test at the end of the month. :-) ) Take care

    NCEES prob. 105 - Electronics

Hey Schmitdy, I like Benbo's idea to try to think about what's going on before grabbing for a mathematical equation. In this example problem you know the capacitor is being charged when the battery is connected, and you know it will discharge when the battery is taken away. You also know the...

Yes B is Vo also known as the initial voltage of the capacitor for circuit 2.

    NCEES prob. 105 - Electronics

Hi, I don't have the book in front of me (and I'm too lazy to go looking for the last time this was posted) but I believe this is the one where you have a 6 volt battery connected to 2 resistors in series, with a capacitor in parallel to the second resistor. Then the switch connecting the...

    What's allowed in the exam

I think the sleeve is so you can see both sides of the paper without removing them from the binder. My guess would be if you have all the papers bound then the sleeves are not needed. (Although the papers can't be pencil.)

    Kaplan Power Sample Exam

Hi, Is this a free exam for download? I can use more example problems for electronics, especially the free type. :-)
