    2-day NCEES Structural Exam

I live in NJ and I have tried to register via the NCEES website for the SE exam with no luck. I have sent an email to ncees and I am currently awaiting a reply. I am not looking forward to traveling to Illinois.

    GRE exam

GRE is pretty easy exam for an engineer. The math portion is simple college algebra, trig, geometry. The verbal portion was pretty straight forward.

Ford Mustang GT or Camaro SS

I had a Mustang for a few years. Fun car at first but got sick of it quick. I've become a loyal Chevy man since. I love the new Camaro, but I will be driving my Silverado for the foreseeable future.

    SE Exam General Info

Where can I get general info on the SE Exam? I live in NJ and work in NY/NJ and I do not think either state honors the SE. I have read recently in professional publications that the SE may be added to many more states in the near future, especially with the new test in April 2011. I would...

***What is your test taking strategy***

I usually break the test up into sections. In the PE case, I broke it up into 4 parts simply by question number. I went through the whole exam, taking the time to answer any and all questions I knew right off the bat. When I get to the end, I start going backwards. For some reason question...

    Structural PM

I think everyone would agree that structural is the hardest of the disciplines, but for me it just came naturally because its what I enjoy. I know I'm a geek but I like calculating steel, concrete, etc. I find it harder to concentrate on environmental or transportation problems and couldn't...

Does it even make sense to take the SE1 in October?

I have to do more research, but I am thinking to hold off on SE until spring 2011 because of the change. Seems a bit screwy how its gonna work this fall.
