I was a long time HP-48GX user so I picked up the 33S for the exam. For basic stuff it works OK but navigating the stack stinks, and the rotating 4 stack is limiting. The worse thing about it is how complex numbers are used, you have to memorized which one of the 4 stacks is real or imaginary...

Because they normalize the tests to make them equal even if it was hard it shouldn't matter. You just need to be in the top 2/3 of the people taking the test. Historically 65-70% of the people pass. So even if the test was amazingly hard you should be ok still. rancam

How can they not have the results yet? Don't they meet to determine the magical cut score? I doubt they do that without results unless they go off prelilminary information. According to the website they met on December 11th and 12th this year. rancam

Based on last year's date the results started coming in around December 20th. The board met the 11th and 12th of this year so I would figure they would decide at that time who's in and who's out. Figure a few days of processing and updating the database, the 20th would fit. rancam

I thought the exact opposite. The morning had much simplier, just use the right equation, type problems while the afternoon section was much more specific question on a wide topic area. I thought I did great in the morning but only so-so in the afternoon. Which kinda stinks because the next...
