Using EET Binder for Transpo PE?

I took the EET Breadth and Depth review courses for my exam in October 2019. I used their references for probably 90% of the problems for both sessions. I would recommend taking the CERM because there are a few problems where you might not find the information you need in the EET material, but...

    Test Anxiety

This is exactly what happened to me when I took the PE in October. I've always had terrible test anxiety, no matter how well I knew the material. I didn't sleep. I didn't eat or drink. I couldn't think or focus. I calmed down during the test because I was distracted. I also hit the wall about...

    SOPE vs EET April 2020

I never noticed getting any wrong answers due to errata when I did EET questions. That's not to say that it didn't happen to you, of course. I didn't take a list of errata with me to the test. Whether that hurt me, I can't say.

    SOPE vs EET April 2020

Samir is right. The HCM was not one of my big go-to resources. His tables are adequate.  You're right about reading those chapters. You're better off just tabbing the sections that you used to solve the problems. If you can solve those problems and navigate your references, you'll be ok. One...

    SOPE vs EET April 2020

I took both the AM and PM courses from EET. I didn't make cheat sheets for either of my binders. I tabbed them thoroughly. A cheat sheet might work better for some, but the tabs worked well for me. I also spent many hours working problems and getting intimately acquainted with those binders and...

    SOPE vs EET April 2020

I found what I needed with the index. I didn't use the CERM much. I relied on the EET material for probably 90% of the test. However, there were two questions that I remember distinctly whose answers were in the CERM and not in any of my other resources. One was a Materials question and the...

    Reminder for those who failed

I wouldn't bother with the one Engineering Economics question that they pose. If you're good at that sort of thing, then by all means. I wouldn't advise anyone to waste valuable study time on it. When they refer to Geometrics, they're mostly talking about horizontal and vertical curve design...

    SOPE vs EET April 2020

I'm sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I do have what I think is good advice for you though. The depth course did a good job preparing us for the afternoon session. There were a couple of things on which the test hit us harder than EET did in the afternoon, but it's generally through.The...

    EET vs. School of PE?

I'm sorry for the delay in my reply. I jumped right in on the old videos. They aren't substantially different from the new ones. However, I did watch the new ones as they became available. I spent a lot of time watching videos.

    EET vs. School of PE?

Emmy and PiratePanda are right, folks. Don't forget to take your CERM's. I can think of at least two questions on my AM session whose answers came straight from the CERM. They were not in the EET material. The EET material is good, but they can't anticipate everything you might be asked. It's a...

    Reminder for those who failed

I found out yesterday that I passed the Transportation exam. It was my third attempt. The first two times I signed up for the test, I got slammed at work and didn't have adequate time to study. My intentions were good, but I could either study or make my deadlines. I couldn't do both. I thought...

    EET vs. School of PE?

I just found out that I passed the October 2019 Transportation exam. I prepared by taking the EET On-Demand AM and PM courses. I don't think anyone can go wrong by taking the EET courses. I don't think I would have passed without them. I agree with the other commenters who say that Samir and...

    SOPE vs EET April 2020

I'm happy to report that I passed the October 2019 Transportation exam. To those who are considering a study program, I strongly recommend doing it. I can't speak about School of PE, but I took the EET On-Demand programs for both the morning and afternoon sessions and can vouch for them. First...
