First time taker PASSED mechanical systems and materials October 2016. No courses taken. The best way to prepare is have a good discipline to study on a regular basis for at least 3 months and do a lot of practice problems similar to the exam. There are plenty of books from PPI to achieve this...

MN results are out!

I passed ME Mechanical Systems and Materials!!!. Minnesota results are published!

So annoying, why can't they post them on NCEES website?

I bet Minnesota will be last, results are sent in bottles down Mississippi river

Nothing because we are in MN still waiting for results. 

I sent email request to AELSLAGID today about exam results timing for MN examinees and here is the response: "Exam scores will be mailed within three business days. "

I took the exam in Minnesota. I am with you. This is so dumb. It could have been worse though if they used pigeons or send the result down the river in a bottle. I am sure they don't even know there is internet. 

I felt very similar about the exam. Finished both sessions with at least 40 minutes to spare. Is our discipline easier than others? 

Has anybody here taken mechanical systems and materials exam last week? I am curious if you thought the exam was easy or difficult.
