    According to NCEES annual report, 477,000PE are currently registered as resident licensee. According to DOL, there are 1.6 million engineering job. So roughly 1 in 4 engineers are PE.

    I believe you need to have at least 10 years qualified experience for FE waiver. Why don't you just take the FE exam, it is not that difficult and will give you a lot of mobility for the certification.     I don't think you need to submit it with your application. The form is only for those we already went through the application process but not had a pass PE scores.

    FYI, if you really want to take the FE exam,  you can register through Michigan Board, they don't require ABET. Since you already has so many years experience, I believe you are eligible for most states.

    I don't see any reasons  the OP to sue ABET. First , the PE is regulated by each state not ABET. Second, It is the Washington Accord that doesn't recognize your degree not ABET. Third, You can also go through NCEES evaluation process.
