The website (linked above) has now been updated to include people that passed this October. The PE numbers are on there too, so I guess we should be receiving another letter from them soon. It will be nice to get the certificate and stamp.
KY hasn't issued the PE numbers yet, so no stamp here. The letter said they would mail the PE number soon but who knows how long that will take. I will order mine as soon as I get it though.
I didn't worry about opening the FE review manual. The CERM covers the morning portion really well, so I didn't feel the need in getting familiar with another thick book.
The CERM is definitely a requirement to pass the exam.
I didn't take a prep course for the PE although I had a binder of questions from a coworker took the class. Personally, I think the PE exam can be passed without taking a course as long as you are motivated to put in the hours required...
I don't think there is any way of finding out. The only way to get an idea is from the failure diagnostics that a couple states give out. Even that would be a guess. I assume they don't want us to know the cut off score from test to test.
Good tabbing of the Green Book and the Capacity Manual are also very important. I used both for multiple questions in the afternoon and my tabbing helped save a lot of time. I used the Roadside Design a couple times too. I didn't study the Roadside Design, MUTCD, Traffic Engineering and...
I would try to find some construction questions to review. The CERM has good cost analysis and critical path problems but not much else. I assume with the construction portion being somewhat new to the exam there's not a lot of references out there yet.
What's worse than waiting is thinking for 2 days that the results would be in the mail only for it to not be there. We all thought KY's results were mailed last Friday so I was on needles all Monday and Tuesday. After not in the mail on Tuesday I called the board only to find out they were...
I can't figure out what I want to do with mine. Take it to work and start using it? Or leave it at home as a keepsake of the time it took? I guess I'll make that decision after I get my results back tomorrow.
