I found out the other day that I passed the LSIT (Land Surveyor in traning). So my question is do i change my email signiture to be: Civil12, PE, LSIT or do i just leave it Civil 12, PE. Thoughts???? Thanks

So I am thinking of taking the LSIT (Land Suryvor in traning) test and am not sure if it will help me or not, I am alrealy a PE and do alot of private work with suryors. Any thoughts

So about a year ago I set up an NCEES records book (to get my PE in other states, mainly MA because they regire it), but it is about to expire and I am just wondering if I should cough up the $25 to keeo it current or not even go through with it. I have all of the PE's in states that I do work...

Anyone ever try to submit and application for PE by Comity in NJ? I am wondering: 1. How long did the precess take? 2. Did you have to take the PE Law Exam? And if you did, did they send it to you or did you have to go to NJ to take the exam? Thanks

gwc, i got that about a year and a half ago to study for the exam. It was not the best referance but i think it was about $30 at the time. i guess i am trying to say it helped but it was not great. Not worth anything over the $30.

Anyone ever had a rubber stamp make at Staples? I was thinking about getting one make there. How did it turn out and did it last? I recently got approved in MA and do not do that much work there so I was just looking to get a cheap stamp made that would not be used all the time.

I wish that I could do that here in RI (have the PE/EIT count for the LSIT). I have hear that some states are pretty particular about there reguirements.

Here in RI, i don't think the board will allow you to sit for the LS with just a PE and EIT. They make you site for the LSIT first.
