Does any one here have any hands on experience designing the structural requirements for a shipping container home? I have experience doing residential structural calcs in Los Angeles, CA and would love to try something new, however, I don't know much about container home design in California...

Is there any way to get a copy of the core concepts PDF 2nd edition without having to shell out more money to USGBC? Its this sort of thing that really disappoints me about USGBC and the overall LEED system, they claim to want to spread their concepts and thereby change the construction market...

Would you actually expect the board to do something that makes sense? They should privatize the entire process IMO. I guarantee if they did we wouldn't be waiting 40+ days for a computer based exam. Just an unacceptable performance! Takes them weeks to mail out letters and update a database...

The Cal Board are a bunch of overpaid lazy government employees!!! how long does it take to process results for a computerized test? Damn nerds got nothing else going on!
