So I'm looking for hydraulic cement that meets ASTM C 595 standards.

I've gone ahead and done my tests using DAP's Quick Plug but am still not sure if it meets standards. A friend and I have called roughly 8 companies that make similar stuff and nobody ever tests for ASTM 595.

Below is the link to DAP's Quick Plug, which has a link to the MSDS and their equilivent of a MTDS sheet.

On the MSDS materials part I've located everything in ASTM C 595 and think it qualifies other than Calcium Sulfate. I think calcium sulfate is also called gypsum possibly and can't tell if this minor portion disqualifies it from meeting ASTM 595.

I have found calcium sulfate in decent quanities in portland cement.

Any help would be appreciated. Note - this is for a University extracurricular activity.

Yes calcium sulfate is gypsum and like many manufacturers, DAP adds the calcium sulafate to control set.

This doesnt disqualify it from meeting the ASTM 595 Standard

Ok, so then from I can tell it should work.

If you happened to see anything in ASTM 595 that doesn't work that you noticed (or go back to look) just point it out. Thanks for your reply.
