I have been struggling with finding reference material for battery questions so I was wondering if anyone has any advice?

This one was recommended in @Zach Stone, P.E.'s free article on suggested reference materials. The book seems pricey on some sites (apparently some are selling for $12,000, see below) but this one is the most affordable I can find online. I've been meaning to get this one soon.

EDIT: I just realized that was the 4th edition I linked. There is an updated 5th edition that is around the same price. It is cheapest on amazon for about $130 if you want to buy, there are also rental options on a few sites. You can also rent it on Amazon as well until December for $71.

Unfortunately this book is not cheap. Most of the other reference books for the PE exam are actually in the same price range, but they all have international additions available at much more affordable prices. I've never found an international version of the linden battery handbook.

Edit - That $12k price in your screen shot is wild!

Edit 2 - This battery book is much more reasonable ($30) and looks promising based on the reviews and table of contents. I just ordered one to see if it is worth recommending as a cheaper alternative: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0071739904/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_EfxjFb1S72Z2F\

Please let us know about the Tab book. The reviews weren't very compelling around last February and I chose to not buy it.

Any suggestions as to what sections to look at in Linden's? This text is HUGE and a little overwhelming.

Zach, have you had a change to review the book?

Is it worth it reviewing it especially given the limited reference available in the handbook.

Not a bad book at all for the price but it is not as in depth as the Linden handbook.
