One of the largest architectural design and project management firms in Oklahoma City is expanding their engineering capacity. The firm is over 35 years old, has nearly 50 employees, and growing.

General Description: Under the direction of the Director of Architectural Engineering, this position is responsible delivery of Electrical Engineering design work, from conceptual design through drawing completion. Professional Engineer license is required.

Typical Duties May Include:

1. Complete engineering design project planning (i.e., conceptual design through construction drawing development)
2. Field survey existing conditions.
3. Conduct one or more of the following: light level calculations, design and layout of equipment, building power systems
4. Develop and review equipment submittals
5. Coordinate design and installation with Project Management, Construction and Service departments
6. Complete Computer 3D modeling of HVAC systems utilizing AutoCAD & Revit
7. Assist or complete project estimating and proposal writing, client interaction
8. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager

Position Requirements (Skills, Work Experience, Education, Certifications, Licenses, etc.):

1. Prior experience with power and lighting design and/or engineering consulting
2. Licensed PE in Oklahoma
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD
4. Knowledge of or willingness to learn Revit
