HI All, this board is a great resource- glad I had a PE recommend this to me! Thanks to all the PEs who still hang out on here to help those of us still aspiring.
I'm a bit confused on the above problem with mutual inductance. This problem is a transformer equivalent circuit showing Rp = 50, Lp = 40mH mutually linked with Ls = 65mH. Lm is given as 15 mH. When an impedance meter is applied in place of Vp, why does it see Rp + Lp + Lm, and not Rp + (Lp-Lm) + Lm as shown in Camara 28-2?
