Good Morning Engineer,
i am a civil engineer from Italy, i would ask a doubt about the transition length for a rural road proposed by Aashto green book 2018.
If i use the minimum length with the 2second rule, and with minimum radius, it is probable that the runoff length is not respected (in fact for minimum radius the superelevation is maximum).
Is it possible to use this minimum transition length value even if the difference with runoff is high (i am within the parameters of confort, etc..) or not?
