Hello fellow engineers! I guess I can't call myself an engineer yet because I'm still in school. I've been assigned a project that is meant to push the scope of what we've learned so far but I'm running into a bit of a snag.
I'm designing a foundation and slab but I've only ever worked with beams and slabs simply/one-way supported, never on grade. I've been digging and digging trying to find a design procedure and an example but I can't find anything. The furthest I got was reading some of ACI-318 but I'm struggling to dig the procedure out of this behemoth. Could anyone lend a hand here?
