I agree. My point wasn't to perturbe via chat but to outline that we paid a lot of money, collectively, for the exam. NCEES happily received that money, we're all still waiting for our fate.

Not at all, I think that's like blaming a waiter for the food tasting bad. I'm just pointing out that there are several reasons for our interest in receiving the results.

Probably quite similar to how my 500+ page reports are really only 'recommendations' as to whether a proposed design can survive operating conditions.

Right, but do consider the staggering amount of money that was paid to NCEES by us for the October 2019 exam. We don't have the October 2019 head count yet but April can be used as a reference. The April 2019 MDM exam alone had 632 examinees. What did we pay, $250? $350 per exam? Then consider...

Still no news on the ISA's site regarding any review of the Controls exam cut score. I think we'll be waiting till at least week 8, if not for the full 10 weeks... https://www.isa.org/news-press-releases/

What if the results have been out for hours already but your NCEES dashboard was frozen and you just had to click on the 'Exams' icon to get your result? O_o

Yesterday I nearly called but then came to my senses consistent with the post below. Still tempting knowing these are likely the folks everyone is waiting on.

Correct, our board has informed me my application will remain valid for at least another attempt at the PE exam if I don't pass the first time. I haven't yet had to ask for exactly how long and the number of repeat exam attempts.

Thanks for the additional details, it sounds like the folks holding up the ordeal will then be whoever the authority is on handing out the cut score for the Controls PE. Seems like it could be The International Society of Automation, but that's just a guess. Any Controls engineers out there who...
