Register as early as possible. You never what complications you might have to deal with with your paperwork.
I suggest using these youtube vids to help study!

I also passed the FE, PE, CA seismic, and CA Surveying exam all in one year after moving here from Canada.
In case anyone is interested, I summarized my advice and what I did to pass in a series of youtube vids. Hope you find it helpful!

Be happy you're not in California where you have an extra 5 hours of exams on top of the PE. Anyway from what I can tell, the most important thing is to get references. As long as your experience is relevant and the board has confidence that you won't stray from your area of expertise...
I bought Hiner's workbook and just passed first try. It was spot on. He has hundreds of multiple choice practice problems that are very representative of the test. I only used his book during the test. Highly recommend.
When did you send you board notification letter? Haven't received the email you received yet :/
My interpenetration is the same as yours though, looks like we might not be licensed until July...
Go to your "MyNCEES" page. right beside where it says you passed the PE, click on "Next Steps".
This seems to be a new way of doing this. Probably a product of decoupling the PE from the State exams. We might be the first round to have to do this.
Passed all three first try.
Just sent my notification form. I could be wrong but I think we might have to wait until the end of June for our License....
