    Professional Societies

Is anyone a member of any professional societies? I am a PE in NYS and I am looking to join some. I was looking into NSPE and IEEE. Are either of these worth it? Do you recommend any other groups?

    Current Consumption

I have a 125VDC battery source and connected to that is a PLC panel.  Within the PLC panel is a 24VDC power supply for all internal components.  If they internal current consumption of all equipment within the PLC cabinet is 0.5983, how do I find the current consumption on the 125VDC side?

Is there anyway to really...

Complex Imaginary, Exam 1, Problem 18

The questions is as follows: A power distribution panel is serving a single-phase 3.3kV, 75 kW load, with a 0.90 lagging power factor.  The feeder to the load has an impedance of 0.2 + j0.5 ohms.  What is the actual voltage for this feeder at the panel? I understand this is a reverse voltage...
