    I don't know about that.  For me it does not make any sense that there are 50 state boards doing exactly the same thing with a minor variation. There should be one national or international registry of engineers or professionals - with states that have supplementary requirements- just insisting...

    what state is this?  Personally, I have not come across a situation of this sort. On the contrary, there are few states like Pennsylvania that have non-engineers looking at engineers application and raising "good" questions.  It is strange to say the least.

    IL PE after Exam - time taken

    Hi - I just completed PE and FE exam (in that order) for IL PE. I had submitted all the fees and experience letters much before. Any idea how long they take to issue the PE license#? I understand continental testing does the result issue bi-weekly. and then some time from the state?

    So what's the cut off score in your opinion? I think it shouldn't be varying a whole lot between different disciplines (+/-2)?
