I am trying to the schedule the FE exam but the test centers around me are not available in any of the dates I want. Is it a good idea to schedule a later date and keep am eye if any sooner one becomes available (if anybody cancels for example)? Your thoughts...

Does anybody know how the PM sections are marked and based on what criteria? There are too many points here. Is it the final answer, the sketches, your hand writing,  all the design steps, ..... etc? All,  I am taking both the Vertical and the Lateral Exams this April. Beside the codes listed in the NCEES exam specs, what are the preparation books that I must have to prepare for the exam.

How long does it take for IL license department to process the application and therefore  allow you to register for the FE/SE exams?

I am sure all answer sheets are now marked and the manually marked samples are done by now as well. The more the exam is difficult, the more they become undecided about the cut score. There October exam was diffictult in many deciplines, which will need more time for them to come up with a cut...

Has anybody here taken the civil - structural exam? The PM part was a bit tough. What is your impression about the exam in general? how about the morning part? I think it was easier but I belive there are at least one problem that is outside the scope of the exam specs.... what do you think...
