I took the test last october. It was tough just like this test.Not sure what the cut score was for my test or April 15'.

Last year it was around the middle of December.

Yeah. The morning was tough. This is my second time. I'm not sure if the test was easier or that i just had more experience with the material. Afternoon was better.

Theory was my issue last time. I tried to incorporate more theory based studying this time. still practiced alot of problems. Hopefully more studying with a better understanding of concepts will get me through.

Do you think it helped with you passing the test?

Quick question Ken 3.0. Did you take a prep course to pass the pe power or did you just self study? Im taking SOPE. Im learning a lot but I'm wondering if it would of been better just to do more self studying versus sitting at a computer for 64 hours.

I didn't. This time i focus more on theory. I took the pe power specification and wiki'd every piece of info i could. I studied wildi & and the schaum manuals. Plus I'm taking SOPE as a prep course. Last time, i was focused on problems. This time theory behind problems. Not sure if thats...

So is the best way to study for this test is to pray and hope for good questions? I'm taking the test for the 2nd time on the 30th.

I took the pe power exam. It sucked. I just want my ncees fail letter christmas present so i can enjoy the rest of the holidays

So when the guy said that the petroleum meeting wrapped up early. Was he making that up? I'm trying to figure out what's real or imaginary.

This is what i did. I had CI,Spin ups,camera,graffeo,ncees exam,and kaplan SAMPLE EXAM. My preparation was problem solving heavy.I practice each exam probably 5 times each. The problems i missed i researched via internet or old electrical books. It probably still wasn't enough to pass but next...

Kovz I also had Graffeo book and Kaplan pe book.Plus my stuff from the GT class.Graffeo book is better than Cameras stuff. I see that now.

It's a tricky test. But its a very broad test.So this test and Aprils test could be night and Day.It just seems like if you work in certain areas and have many years of experience, then you have a clear advantage over someone who has 4 or 5 years experience and studied for 6 months like me. I...
