    What state to get SE license?

    I haven't researched it much since I still need to pass the lateral but why not California? I know they want you to be a PE for 3 or 4 years and obviously a PE there but any reason (or experience) why not CA besides the mentioned?

    Texas is out, passed Vertical (I only took the vertical exam). Super happy!

    Anyone knows who sets the cut-off lines? NCEES or the state boards?  I believe for PEs, the states have their own cut-off points but I am not sure if the process is the same for SE.

    I agree with @Jayman PE. I had only 3 days to study and took the Boniface's tests. I found it in line with what was in the exam (took it this past Sat). My problem was I had never touched surveying after my freshman year in 2000. I am still hopeful though. I have never understood why it takes so...
