Passed PE-Industrial. I just prepared for 10 days before the exam date (one full week off from the work). But I took my FE last October and really prepared well for 2 months. I guess that helped and I was quiet confident that I have to just to revise all the topics.

I heard that it takes about 4 weeks for the answer sheets to reach NCEES and manually scanned. Probably this time could be saved! I agree it is harder to monitor for cheating. There shd be a way to enter those answer in the computer to make things faster!

My idea would to be have only answer sheets in the computer. After they finish the exam in a big hall (or whatever) lets the examinees go in to a testing center and enter their answer in a computer that has answer sheets. I know this idea would create lot of debate...

NCEES Committee had already voted to move PE in to CBT. But I think it will take more time before it actually comes out. But I agree.. It would be nice to see the results soon. Cant really wait for 40-50 days...

Hello I'm taking my PE Industrial Apr 2015. I just started my preparations and I'm curious what is allowed (in terms of materials) and what is not allowed in to the examination center. I was told that I can take any kind of material. Is that right?

I just received my results and PASSED the FE (Industrial) exam. One big relief after a month of rigorous studying. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Good luck! Key is to work out more problems. Just go through the basics and start practicising problems as soon as you can.

I had a single 24 inch monitor for my exam. 2 monitor or 1 montor doesnt matter as long as Reference material is accesible..

25 min break is optional and it is not part of the exam. Its just for refreshing.. Its like use it or loose it...

Thank you for your encouraging words. From my experience as well, we shd plan to spend less time on 1st session and leave more time for second session. 2nd session requires some thinking to solve it.

How many correct we shd get out of 115 questions to pass the exam. I just took the exam yesterday. Last 10 - 15 questions I didnot have enough time to answer. But made some guess though! Waiting for the results. Fingers Crossed. :shakehead:
