Get a hold of one of Michael Lindeburg's Reference manuals. I have one that's approximately 12 years old and if memory servers me correctly, he mentioned about a third of all engineers in the US are registered. It was in the EIT reference manual wherever he talks about registration. I'd go look...

That's just wrong. Perhaps it has something to do w/ the fact that HE didn't pass? It takes WAY too much work and preparation to obtain the PE. Continue to impress at your current position while at the same time looking for an employer that will reward you. I just passed on my 3rd attempt...

I didn't realize we became a direct mail state from ELSES. My letter came last week while I was on a business trip to Ohio and I found out that I PASSED the PE Environmental after opening the letter on Saturday. That was my 3rd attempt and I couldn't be happier!!
