Hours put in to pass october 2013 exam

Spent a bit over 200 hours studying, starting in August. Went through almost the entire Lindeburg text cover to cover with the associated practice problem book, along with an 8 week review class at the University of Washington. Three months of pain resulted in a pass!

    You passed, now what?

Title upgrade from Project Engineer to Account Executive! :mf_bounce8: Still haven't heard anything from the state (WA), nor am I listed on the online license registration yet. Playing the waiting game.....

PCS Email to Pay for Licensure

All the website says is "once you pass, you'll receive your license number within 4 weeks and wall certificate within 12 weeks." I wasn't sure if it's just a waiting game now for the 4 weeks for my license number or if I should be expecting something else in the mean time.

PCS Email to Pay for Licensure

I'm still waiting on any additional notifications from my state as well (Washington). I can also see that I still show up as an EIT in the state database. Does it typically take this long to get further instructions?

So who is ready for Friday?

1st time taker here in WA (HVAC). Been averaging 20 hours a week studying since the beginning of August (along with working full time too), so I'm ready to be done. There are days when I'm feeling really confident, and others where I'm not. Good luck to everyone else!

    Test day approaching

Thanks for the tips! I bit the bullet and got a hotel just a few minutes from the testing location, instead of a ~1 hour drive depending on traffic. Should ease some of the stress of getting there on time.

With 10 days to go, what are you focusing on?

My study goal was 200 hours, I'm sitting at 198 after yesterday (yes I did track my study hours, wanna fight about it?). Final 2-3 days are to go back and review all the major topics/equations/tables/charts for thermo, fluids, heat transfer, and HVAC. Hopefully I won't burn out by Friday....

Questions about the PE HVAC afternoon section

I'll try not to ask too many specific questions (which wouldn't get answered anyway, haha) but I'm trying to get a better grasp on what I might expect on the upcoming HVAC afternoon section. Quick background on me; I've worked on the mechanical contractor side of the industry since I graduated...
