i still haven't gotten my wall certificate, called and since I opted for the 2 year activation they won't be issueing my wall certificate till they order the ones with the passing april people. so I'm looking at a wall certificate maybe august? lol

well I finally got my number, after I resent everything they finally found the original. so it's now official finally and it's good till 2016. ordered my seal yesterday

so after they didn't call me back yesterday I called again around 3:00. got angry and said they would call when they got around to it. didn't call again.. maybe i'll just mail another check. I figured they would lose everything so I made copies before I sent the first one.

called again today, still can't find it. said they would call back again. hopefully they call back this time

i called the state yesterday to inquire about my check which hasn't been cashed yet and to see when I'd be getting my license number issued. after being on hold for 5 minutes they couldn't find anything and said they would call me back. yeah I like the idea of not having to do anything else till at least 2016, including continuing education. I'm not going to be signing and sealing anything so there is no rush

called the board. since I did the 80 dollar option they aren't going to process the check till Feb. But I should be getting a license issued sometime in Feb. So that's not too bad.

commercial construction industry they just want somebody to stamp there plans so they can get permits. around here they value experience more than education. it's basically mcdonald's engineering. they want the plans/burger for as cheaply and quickly as possible. it's quite sad really.

grad school is too expensive and nobody in consulting engineering cares if an electrical guy has a masters. if it was cheaper I'd do it just for the learning experience. also there are very few power programs in new jersey

yeah my company does the same but I figured no continuing education till 2016 sounded nice. not sure how that would work if I got the license issued this cycle.

nice, did you do the 80 dollar option or the 40. It was kind of confusing but I did the 80 just so I didn't have to think about it till 2016. I figure if they don't issue the license till april no big deal. been waiting forever anyway.
