Don't give up, get it next time! I passed the 8 hour first try, then seismic, then surveying this time. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

Passed surveying! In the lookup page! Whooooo!! Congrats to everyone else who passed and good luck next time to anyone who didn't. Don't give up. I passed one test each time, not ashamed of that!

Could be for other disciplines, but doubtful for Civil's. They "liked" my post on Facebook within the last hour when I responded to someone saying that 81685 will be the next Civil License, but they provide no real feedback. :beat:

I guess I just don't understand the point of them having the Twitter and FB pages since they provide zero interaction with anyone who tries to ask questions on these situations. Not even a "sorry we can't respond to that". They just ignore it or worse, "like" the post.

I wish they would just openly come out and announce "Results will be mailed out on ____." This waiting and checking for any update between the 3 separate threads here on EB and the BPELS main site and their Facebook site is starting to wear on me. For some reason the longer I don't hear anything...

Civil PEs in california are required to take 2 additional exams to become licensed engineers. A California Specific Surveying and Seismic exam. You need to pass all the 8-hour, take-home, and both CA exams to get your license and number. The database is updated once a day usually late at night...

Same! The worst are when people ask "did you pass?!" and I say "I don't know yet". Then of course their response is "Well when will you know??" :beat: whattaya askin me for?!?!

And now the start of another week of waiting... Hopefully this is the one!

Where does it say on their Facebook posts that the results may be released in January? They have said before 30-45 days, and the last exam was taken on November 6th. 45 days later is December 21st. I know they only say that they "try" to get the results out in that time frame, but I have never...

CAPLS has been quiet for over a week now... Wish we had some sort of update on to when to start checking our mailboxes. I can't imagine it is actually going to take another week to process the prometric results and start to mail the letters... At least, I really hope it doesn't..

I think they will continue to say "2 weeks" until the day they actually come out.

The longer the wait, the more I question whether I passed surveying...

not to make you feel worse, but in CA we have to pay $125 for the application, $265 for the 8-hour test, $150 for seismic, $150 for surveying, plus a $60 fee for each seismic and surveying to the Prometric testing center. So when you take them all at once, it gets quite expensive. And every time...

Next Friday is the 44th day after the last exam. I still am holding out hope that they are just saying that is the LAST day they would mail them out. I have nothing to base this on other than hope. I have the mailing address as my office so I don't want to have to come in on a Saturday to get...

Last round the board posted on their facebook page and website that they were mailing out the letters, rather than surprising everyone. I would get my hopes up with mail until we hear that the results have, in fact, been mailed.
