Let the Waite Begin, How did everyone do?

Why 3 weeks? Hopefully, by next Wednesday the PE result should be released at least in TX. I still remember for OCT 2012, PE followed FE result after 4-6 days. I agree waiting sucks especially with the mood swings about the results. Good luck to all :waiting:

Continous, Intermittent and standby loads; Demand Factors?

In most oil and gas projects, loads are devided into continuous, intermittent and standby loads; are summed up separately and then applied with 1, 0.5, 0.1 diversity factors for continuous, intermittent and standby respectively. Then, maximum running load = continuous loads*(1.0) + intermittent...

    SER Requirements - TEXAS

the Board of Tx are very cooperatives. they always answered all my questions withen the same day. Let the Waite Begin, How did everyone do?

Redskinsdb21, I think from previous forums, it was your second time. right? if so, was last week's exam easier or harder? honestly I dont know if ill pass or not. I was very confident with my preperation with 98% on 12 exams including NCEES. but during the afternoon portion, I felt all what...

Let the Waite Begin, How did everyone do?

Same thing here......the morning was easy for me. but afternoon, it was literally a blood bath. Those who makes these exams should have taken into consideration that our minds will be exhausted by noon....so they should always make the 2nd part to be easier than the 1st. good luck to all.

effect of tower height on charging current

I charging = w x C x V, non of the above depends on the height of Tower. C depends on conductors radius, spacings and length of transmission line.

Spin up exam 1, problem 2

Redskinsdb21, It is not if they spin with or against each others. there is a small round arrow indicates the rotation of each diagram. if you follow the direction and the sequence was a-b-c-a-b-c it is positive sequence: if teh sequence is a-c-b-a-c-b it is negative sequence

    spinup, exam 1, problem 33

thisnk about it this way: Single phase: 2 thyristors/Diodes to make full wave rectification. Three phase: 2*3 = 6 Thyristors are diodes with gate for firing angle control.

    Camara Problems 10 and 12

The way i thought about it is: Q= sqrt (3) (V line) ((Vline)/Xc) (sin -90), where Vline/Xc = I across capacitance. I also looked into Errata and didnt find anything about it. so the formula seems right for 3 phase system. I hope somebody can confirm or clarify.
