    AISC Seismic Design Manual

I highly encourage you get the hard copies of the AISC Steel Manual and the AISC Seismic Design Manual for the exam.  If you don't have the Steel Design Manual, check with someone in your company (if that's an option).  In many cases, the entry-level EIT's will have the latest version from their...

    SE Exam Cut Score Estimate

It has to be based on minimum proficiency in the AM and PM, individually. I have passed the PM with all Acceptable multiple times. And assuming that meant 100% for the PM, my overall test with the AM was over 75% combined and I still failed.

    SE Exam Cut Score Estimate

Based on my experiences, I'm going to guess: Morning: - Need at least 28/40 ( +\- 1 or 2). Afternoon: - I agree that Unacceptable on any problem will kill the result. - For Buildings: 3 Acceptable & 1 Improvement Required may be ok. - For Bridges: Acceptable on the 2-hour and one...

    EET-SE Review

I'm not sure how frequent they do the early registration discount.  Here are some FAQ's that may shed some light:  http://www.eetusa.com/faq If not, I say just shoot them an email:  http://www.eetusa.com/contact-us

    EET-SE Review

Yep, that's the site.  I paid the full $1,100 price tag since I signed up very late in the game.  I believe the live webinars were already in the 8th or 9th week by the time I started studying.  They will ship the printed course materials very promptly.  I signed up on a Sunday and received them...

    EET-SE Review

I took the EET SE Lateral online demand course this past fall.  I had taken and failed the SE Lateral (Bridges) multiple times over the past few years, primarily due to the AM multiple choice questions which I was never able to achieve an acceptable level.  I almost always got "Acceptable" on...

    SE Exam Scoring Workshop

Congrats!  You did what I wish I had done years ago:  Take and pass the Lateral first, then worry about the Vertical.

    SE Exam Scoring Workshop

Thanks MightyEngineer.  It certainly was a rough ride.  I always did well on the PM bridge essays.  But the AM multiple choice kept tripping me up.

    SE Exam Scoring Workshop

Correction: Looks like both PE and SE were released on same day the last 2 times for October.  I went back through the archived NCEES "news" posts: Exam Date PE SE April 2016 5/19/16 6/10/16 October 2015...

    SE Exam Scoring Workshop

Yeah, I was a bit surprised that NCEES did not release both the PE and SE results to state boards on the same day.  They have been doing that the last few exam administrations.

    PA Results Delivery

I thought that PA was still using PCS (for the last time) for the October 2016 exams.  So I would expect the same song and dance: NCEES releases results to state boards.  Most states inform examinees that day (or a couple of days later).  PA waits another 2 weeks to inform examinees.  PA takes...

    October 2016 Spam-athon Thread

I'm too lazy to find it now, I'd say maybe let it go for now. Wasn't the worst I've seen.
